24hrs is an American rapper, singer, DJ and music producer. He was formerly known as Rolls Royce Rizzy. He’s known for tracks like “Malibu”, “Stylist”, “Turn Me Down” and “what you like”. He was born Robert Dozier Davis III on December 1, 1990, in Oakland, California. He has a younger brother, MadeinTYO, who’s also a rapper. His father was in the military and as a result he moved around quite often. He lived in places like Texas, Virginia, Hawaii and Tokyo.
Career:
24hrs began rapping in his early teens. He grew up listening to artists like Jadakiss, Fabolous and Cassidy. In 2011, he signed to Lil Scrappy’s G’s Up label and his mixtape ‘Body Bag Muzik’ was released shortly after. He performed at Hot 107.9’s 17th Birthday Bash in Atlanta in 2012. Several artist performed including Lil Jon, Rick Ross, Usher & Lil Wayne. He signed to So So Def Records in 2013. He’s also a member of the ‘Private Club’ collective. The other members include Salma Slims, Phin Tha Weirdo, Nephlon Don, Noah Wood$ and his brother MadeinTYO.
24hrs Videography
24hrs released his self-titled debut EP in December 2015. It was led by the track “You Know” produced by Apex Martin. A second EP titled “Open” was released in April 2016. It featured production from Apex, NonStop, and Bugzy Mogues. Tracks from the EP included “Back For Me”, “Stylist” and “Special”. The official video for “Back For Me” was posted to YouTube in September 2016. It has since been viewed more than 245,000 times. On December 12, 2016, Davis released What You Like featuring American rappers Ty Dolla $ign and Wiz Khalifa. The song became popular in early February 2017 and was sent to contemporary hit radio & rhythmic contemporary on February 27 2017.
Other projects from 24hrs include Sunset (2016), 12:AM (2016), Night Shift (2017), and Not Open Late (2017). He was featured on the 2016 single “Only You” alongside Roy Woods and Ty Dolla Sign. His debut studio album, Open Late, is scheduled for release in 2017. On November 16, 2018, Davis released his debut album, House on the Hill. The album featured executive production by Hit-Boy and Ty Dolla Sign, as well as guest appearances from Lil Pump, YG, Moneybagg Yo, Smokepurpp and Dom Kennedy, among others.
Personal:
24hrs stands about 5ft 5in tall and he’s of African-American ancestry. His net worth is estimated at $500 Thousand. He’s married to fellow rapper ‘Salma Slims’. In early 2015, 24hrs was sued by luxury car company Rolls Royce. The lawsuit cited copyright infringement stemming from the use of the stage name “Rolls Royce Rizzy”. He reportedly advertised and sold “Team Rolls Royce” shirts online. 24hrs lost the case and was ordered to change his name and shed any references to the luxury car brand. Following the court order, he dropped the “Rolls” and went by the moniker “Royce Rizzy”. He adopted the new stage name “24hrs” in 2016.
